Title: Bye Bye

Seoyu is standing on the edge of a bridge. This bridge was where his happy life ended years before, when he survived a plunge in the river below, while his parents and brother did not. Ever since, he's lived with survivor's guilt, doing the bare minimum to get through day after day. Now that he's the same age his brother was when he died, Seoyu sees no point in continuing on in life. Just as he's about to climb over the guardrail, a car comes flying up, crashing into it.

Seoyu rushes over to help the driver, only to find a perfectly fine young man. As it turns out, he wasn't supposed to drive the car yet. Fearing his brother's reaction, he begs Seoyu to help him lie and get out of any trouble in exchange for a nice chunk of change. Though only a few moments before, Seoyu was ready to move on from life. But his determination has waned, and he's agreed to meet the young man's brother. Seoyu doesn't expect to meet a very dominant alpha, and a hot one at that.

There's no way this guy would ever be attracted to a recessive omega like him, but that doesn't stop Seoyu from imagining it. How surprising it is when those dreams come true, and he is actively pursued by the hot alpha Sunghoon Choi. But is he deserving of such love from someone like Sunghoon?

Jaewon's life has been pretty smooth since moving in with his casual sex partner. In exchange for sex, he's fed, clothed, and housed without having to do much else, which is a great deal as far as Jaewon is concerned. He spends his days idly until his partner asks him to sign up for martial arts classes at the dojang he works at. Jaewon isn't interested, but if that's all he asks, he could do that, at least. He joins a class, inadvertently joining under the tutelage of a former classmate, Jung-wook.

For whatever reason, Jung-wook seems to have it out for Jaewon, not that Jaewon is making it hard for him. Jaewon is lazy and self-important, spending class time napping or playing around, and while that's enough to draw the ire of Jung-wook, the reasons are so much deeper than that. Jung-wook and Jaewon got close in middle school, far closer than friends. They kissed and shared some of the most intimate moments of their lives, both when they needed it the most. Jung-wook was ruthlessly bullied and tortured in school, and though Jaewon never came to his defense, he often lessened the bullying as much as he could by hanging out with the bullies. Jung-wook was fine with this arrangement, and he was fine even when Jaewon ended up spreading a rumor around the school, making the bullying worse.

What Jung-wook couldn't stand was Jaewon moving on and abandoning him. Jung-wook wants revenge, and he's willing to give Jaewon his body if he can get revenge. What Jung-wook doesn't know is that Jaewon doesn't remember anything about his betrayal. He hardly remembers Jung-wook at all, and he's all too happy to go on this lusty ride of vengeance.

Doyun feels like he's only a half-omega. From the time he was small, it was clear he wouldn't be the standard, stereotypical omega. As the youngest of four, all his older brothers being alphas, he was the strongest and tallest. One evening, after having his regular scuffles at work with his coworker Taehan, Doyun is hanging out at home, trying to sleep, when he is struck with a panicky feeling. His body is heating up, and his heart is racing. He's never felt anything like this before, but he's pretty sure he knows what this is: his first heat. He calls his doctor, who rushes over, only to find that the feeling he had is gone. The following day, at an after-work dinner with his coworkers, Doyun sits beside Taehan when that feeling hits him again. This time, though, he puts out pheromones that everyone at the table can smell. The only one who realizes it's coming from Doyun is Taehan, and when Doyun attempts to leave on his own, Taehan follows.

Rather than Taehan taking advantage of Doyun, Doyun ends up pouncing on Taehan, leading to Doyun's first night in full heat with an alpha. The next day, panicked, Doyun rushes away from Taehan, hoping he'll just forget the whole thing. While they agree to put it behind them, Doyun's body doesn't seem interested in forgetting, going into heat over and over again whenever Taehan is near. Why can't Doyun seem to escape Taehan's allure?

This occurs in the nameverse, where individuals eventually manifest their soulmate's initials somewhere on their bodies. If the two ever meet and consummate their connection, they will be bound to each other forever, unable to be with anyone else for the remainder of their lives. The connection is so deep that being separated from your soulmate can cause irreparable health issues. This is a scary but romantic notion that Suha wants to live for himself desperately.

It's especially important to Suha, as he has saved himself for his soulmate since their initials manifested on his body as “GHB.” Most people get the initials on a normal body part, like their arms or legs. Maybe even their back. Suha, however, has his in a particularly unique and embarrassing spot: his genitals. That made the intensity of his need for his soulmate all the more vital, hoping that one day he'd be able to give his first time to his soulmate and have them be the first person to see their initials on his body.

While Suha's dream has always been to be with his soulmate, after seeing Chef Calix online, he also wants to become a chef. He feels so strongly about this dream, particularly about Calix, that he goes right to the restaurant where Calix works so he can learn under his tutelage. Working with Calix is just as amazing as Suha imagined, but it has an odd side effect. For some reason, Suha can't stop having wet dreams with Calix as the star of the show. As a result, working alongside the chef has been awkward, to say the least, and with Suha always imagining himself with a woman, it's even stranger that he would be so drawn to Calix like this. Can Suha refrain from giving into his lust, or will he forgo his promise to his unknown soulmate and pursue Calix instead?

With a set of twins and Shouta, Akira and Sougo's life is full of happiness and the joyous chaos this bustling family brings. One downside of their growing family is that it's much harder to have sexy time now with Shouta and the babies interrupting them at every turn. Sougo is all the more troubled by the fact that Akira is giving off postpartum pheromones, making him all the more alluring to both Sougo and every other Bestia around. Unfortunately, things are about to get a lot tougher when he has to return to work, and in the midst of it, he runs into none other than Sougo's half-brother. And Sougo's half-brother has Akira in his sights as a potential mother to his children.

On the other side are Doctor Kurosaki and Kirigaya. Even though Kirigaya is still a bristly spitfire with Doctor Kurosaki, the doctor isn't dissuaded from pursuing him in the least. It isn't until the other nurses mention how often Kirigaya made his way through earless lovers that Kirigaya begins to see the doctor differently. However, to the doctor's chagrin, it isn't as a potential lover but as a threat. Why is Kirigaya so jumpy around earless men? And can Doctor Kurosaki overcome Kirigaya's fears so he has a chance with him?

Akira's work/life balance is finally balancing out in his favor. With more time on his hands, he opts to go on vacation with Sougo and their baby Shouta. Thankfully, Sougo and Shouta are there to remind him why being Bestian isn't a bad thing at all. As a result of all the fun and comfort in Hawaii, Akira and Sougo successfully conceive their next child together, but this pregnancy is much more complicated than with Shouta. Will they make it with more than one baby in the house?

Meanwhile, Soushi, Sougo's father, is trying to be a better grandfather and help care for Shouta. But, along the way, he runs into Yuu, his first love. As it turns out, Yuu is still single, but after so much heartache in their past and a life apart from each other after all this time, can they come back together for good? Or has Soushi's steadfast belief that Bestia should propagate and multiply endlessly scared Yuu away from him forever?

The pressure only intensifies when his father-in-law, Sougo's father, pulls Akira aside and asks him, “Do you have any intention of leaving Sougo?” Of course, Akira has never considered such a thing, but Sougo's father does make a few good points as to why Akira should let Sougo go. Sougo is an ideal specimen. He should be able to spread his genes to as many Bestian as possible to keep the Bestian line at its best. But Akira just can't allow it because he wants Sougo all to himself.

Is he just selfish, or can Bestia be monogamous with each other, instincts be damned?

As he suspects Shougo might be seeing other Bestia on the side, Akira feels like he's failing on all fronts, and those negative feelings toward Bestia begin to rear their ugly heads again. Before he even realizes it, he relies heavily on his earless coworker and Sougo's friend for comfort. Can Akira do it all? Or is Akira destined for failure because he is Bestia?

Dr. Akira Miyaji is a doctor, but not just any doctor. He specializes in Bestia care, a new form of humanity where people are born with cat ears and tails and go through cyclic mating periods known as heats. One especially unique variation in these humans, though, is that all genders can carry children, which has caused an explosion in their population numbers. Dr. Miyaji is actually a Bestia himself, but he was born to two earless parents. It isn't unheard of, but because of his background, he often hates himself for being Bestia and being at the whim of his instincts and biology.

On the other end of the spectrum, one of the directors of the hospital where Dr. Miyaji works is Sougo Kijima. Unlike Dr. Miyaji, Sougo was born and raised among Bestia and had no problems letting his instincts guide him. Unfortunately for Dr. Miyaji, Sougo's instincts are leading him straight to him. Despite all of Dr. Miyaji's best efforts, he can't help but be drawn to Sougo in kind. Their relationship quickly evolves from a doctor-patient relationship into a physical one. Does Dr. Miyaji like Sougo simply because his instincts tell him to, or are these feelings the real deal?

Hyuk is having the time of his life in college. He's got a hot girlfriend, great friends, and good enough grades, and things are only looking up for him… except for one thing. He is having trouble getting it up, making things difficult with his hot girlfriend. To fix his problem, Hyuk makes an appointment with a urologist. Dr. Han is friendly and puts Hyuk at ease. Since Hyuk doesn't have any physical reasons as to why he may be having this problem, Dr. Han guesses the problem is psychological. To get past the mental block, Dr. Han performs a prostate exam and massage, which, much to Hyuk's surprise, feels extremely good. Also, to Dr. Han's surprise, he finds the session with Hyuk stimulating.

Dr. Han sets up regular consultations with Hyuk where they repeat the procedure, and over time, Hyuk and Han develop a relationship that goes beyond patient and doctor. As a result of his secrecy and inability to perform, Hyuk's girlfriend leaves him, which leaves him with more time to spend with Dr. Han. Soon, Dr. Han and Hyuk are meeting outside the clinic, and Dr. Han is more and more generous with his resources and time. Before Hyuk knows it, he finds himself attracted to Dr. Han, and with the recent change in his relationship status, he has no reason not to be with Dr. Han. Yet, there is something about Dr. Han that Hyuk just can't seem to reconcile. Who is this man really, and why can't he seem to trust him fully?
