Identity: Vers / Versatile / Seke / Switch

Where there are usually characters that are exclusively a “bottom” or “top,” these works feature a character who switches their position. Traditionally, this would refer to someone who is versatile, but the word “switch” has also been used. Please note, the use of “switch” here is not the same as the use of “switch” (in reference to a change of dom and sub dynamics) within the BDSM community or universe.

As long as a character is shown participating as both a “top” and a “bottom,” even if they don’t end up switching positions with their significant other, the work will appear in the “vers” tag. Example: character A is shown topping a stranger in the beginning, but only bottoms with the person they end up with, they would still be considered vers.
